The Capital Improvement Project is a $23.89 million renovation plan that promises to update the Avon Central Schools (in Avon NY) to modern safety standards and with modern learning environments. The focus of this series of videos was to help promote the Capital Improvement Project, and give insight into why the district felt the renovations were necessary. For example, Ashley-McGraw, an architecture company based out of Syracuse NY and header of the project, drafted a plan to install white board lockers, inter-classtoom study zones, wider hallways, energy efficient windows and lights, floors made from rubber that silence your footsteps and more to encourage learning outside of the classroom and to create focal points where students can socialize and be creative.

The Capital Improvement Project Video was purposefully designed to be broken down into smaller segments. The main video has a run time of 5 minutes and 38 seconds, and incorporates two main segments: The "Guiding Principles" behind the renovation (manifested by Ashley McGraw) and the actual renovations themselves complete with renderings of the new building. The shorter videos are separate and incorporate extra footage and audio not seen in the full video to emphasize the themes of each section.

What is unique about this project is it's incorporation of the community perspective. Throughout the videos, there are interviews with community members who are vocal about the benefits of renovation. Even in their initial design, Ashley-McGraw incorporated community input on what rooms were to be renovated and how. This project, Produced by Limelight Video Services (my production company) required full collaboration with Superintendent Dr. Ryan Pacatte, District Principals, teachers, and community members to produce. I am proud to have played a roll in improving the educational lives of young students. The Capital Improvement Project was passed by  district members on Dec 13th, 2022.

While sitting in Café 108 (Auburn NY) with videography friends, I was approached by the Cayuga Drug and Alcohol Testing company owner, Brian Muldrow. He thought we looked very studious, and offered a job to anyone who could produce him a few short videos for his company. I thought it would be a great experience to have within the commercial world of videography, so I and another friend agreed to help. The following are three videos that outline Cayuga Drug and Alcohol's functions and the services it provides for other companies.

The pre-production plan for this required me to write scripts for Brian and Kiersten and draw small rough story boards outlining the shots required for b-roll. These videos were shot by me and my friend, Carmen Liberatore, but solely edited by me.

Wedding Videography

Nathanael and Moriah are a very sweet couple who wanted something small and delightful. Don't worry they're not bashful. Captured in the back yard of a Mackenzie Child's mansion, Nathanael and Moriah's wedding was a sight  to behold as the sun rose steadily into the sky. The two trees behind them at the alter symbolized their love for one another and the equality of their relationship. Additionally they could both be models if they wanted to with how well they took to posing and walking.

Tyler and Rehgan have known each other for what seems like forever, and after 10 long years of traveling across the country they finally came back home to Central New York to get married and be with each other for another forever.

In high school they hung out with each another during their emo phase but have since transitioned into their honeymoon phase and are living a wonderful life together.

Congratulations!

Did I mention this wedding is Harry Potter Themed?
